Hot Stuffed Avocado

Instead of guacamole or a salad dish, make these hot stuffed avocado. Creamy, cheesy, warm and packed with yumminess. They are great for Super Bowl or any gather-together occasions.

large, peeled and halved

CUP ML LEMON JUICE

TEASPOONS ML GARLIC POWDER
¼ 59
CUP ML BUTTER
or margarine

TABLESPOONS ML SCALLIONS, SPRING OR GREEN ONIONS
chopped
½ 2.5
TEASPOON ML CELERY SALT
1/16 0.3
TEASPOONS ML CAYENNE PEPPER

cooked and minced

Directions

Roll outside of peeled avocados in lemon juice to keep color.

Put in large baking pan.

Sprinkle with lemon juice and garlic powder.

Bake avocados at 350℉ (180℃) for 15 minutes. Remove to serving plates.

Meanwhile In a saucepan, melt butter, add green onions, celery salt and pepper.

Cook 5 minutes. Blend in flour. Add cream.

Cook while stirring until thickened. Fold in chicken and ½ cup cheese.

Ladle filling over baked and hot avocados. Top with remaining cheese.

This don't make sense. How can you pour the 'filling' over the avocados if they are in the pan with everything else? Also, what sort of heat and how much?
