Directions

Sift together the flour and baking powder. Next cream butter and sugar with an electric hand mixture until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Mix well with a spoon.

Stir the flour mixture into cream mixture. Mix with a wooden spoon. Add orange peel and apple sauce. Mix to combine but don’t over mix.

Now line a muffin tin with paper cups. Pour batter into cups. Fill only ½ to ⅔ full.

Bake at 180 cup degrees for about 20 minutes. Muffins are ready when the top springs back when you touch it with your finger.

Remove from oven to let cool.

After that whisk icing sugar and two tablespoon hot water together until it is glaze consistency. Drizzle the glaze over the top of the cooled muffins. Now sprinkle candy over the glaze.

Serve and enjoy.
