Directions

In a pot, combine the first four ingredients.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 minute.

Set aside to cool.

Sift together dry ingredients.

Make a well in the centre and fold in the boiled ingredients.

Mix well. Bake at 300 F for 60 minutes in floured and greased loaf pans or cake pans.

Test to see if done all the way through.

If not, return to oven for a few more minutes.

Cool on a wire rack.
