Ingredients

2 cups water
cold
½ cup corn grits
corn grits, yellow or white

1 teaspoon sea salt
optional
½ pound cheddar cheese, very old, sharp
grated
2 tablespoons butter
1 each eggs
beaten, or egg replacer
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

¼ teaspoon paprika
*
1 cloves garlic
peeled and minced
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
*

Directions

In large saucepan mix well; water, grits and salt.

Bring to simmer and cook until grits are very thick; remove from heat.

Oil 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

Stir together in sauce pan grits and remaining ingredients; pour into prepared dish and spread evenly.

Sprinkle top with additional paprika.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350℉ (180℃).
