12 vanilla wafers

23 ounces cream cheese
softened
¾ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1 cup cherry pie filling

Directions

Place wafers, flat side down, on bottom of each of 12 paper-lined muffin cups.

Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.

Add eggs; mix just until blended. DO NOT OVERBEAT AFTER ADDING EGGS.

Pour over wafers, filling each cup.

Bake at 325℉ (160℃). for 30 minutes.

Cool before removing from pan.

Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Top with fruit just before serving.
