Ingredients

18 ounces all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 x salt

1 package yeast, active dry
2 ⅛ cups milk
1 x eggs

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons poppy seed
1 x prunes
dried, seedless

Directions

  1. Make a yeastdough out of flour, 1 sugar, salt, yeast, milk, egg 2. Let rise and then roll out, 2 to 3 cm thick and cut with a round cutter 3. Fill ech circle with one prune, pinch good on edges.
  2. Heat butter and sugar in a skillet and add 1 cup of water; add the dumplings and cover Put the dumplings on platter and melt butter and mix with sugar and poppy seeds and pour over dumplings.
  3. Serve warm.
