Ingredients

cup all-purpose flour
unsifted
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
2 packages unsweetened chocolate
baking
*
½ cup walnuts
broken, or pecans, optional
¼ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
or flavour

Directions

Combine flour, salt, and baking powder; set aside.

Beat eggs well; gradually blend in sugar.

Beat in margarine, and baking chocolate, then blend in the flour mixture.

Stir in nuts if using and vanilla.

Pour into greased 8 inch square pan and bake at 350℉ (180℃). for about 25 minutes.

Cool in pan; then cut in squares.
