Billy Bob's Texas Style Chili

 

Enjoy the taste of Texas with this savory chili made from ground chuck, chili powder and suet.

Ingredients

10 pounds ground chuck (ground beef)
1 cup red pepper flakes

1 cup chili powder

¾ cups paprika

½ cup cumin
*
¼ cup garlic powder
*
¼ cup salt
cup red pepper flakes
crushed
*
1 pound suet
3 quarts water
*
¼ cup sugar

Directions

Add fat first, then meat and seasonings to fat. Add water after it cooks 2 hours. Twenty minutes before serving add sugar. Cook 3 hours total. Stir occasionally. Good with raw chopped onion on top.
