Amigos Chili recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef
1 cup onions
chopped
1 tablespoon garlic
chopped
¼ cup chili powder

1 tablespoon cumin
ground
28 ounces tomatoes, canned
crushed, with added puree
1 ½ cups beef stock
2 cups corn
fresh or frozen
15 ¼ ounce red kidney beans
drained
¼ cup cilantro
fresh, chopped

Directions

Cook beef in heavy large pot over medium heat until brown, crumbling with fork, about 10 minutes.

Add onion, garlic, chili powder, and cumin and cook 5 minutes stirring frequently.

Mix in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, corn, and kidney beans and bring to boil.

Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 30 mins.

Mix in cilantro.
