Apple Cider Sauce
Great for apple season and excellent drizzled over apple dumplings.
Add the apple cider, water, sugar, and cinnamon to a pot and bring to the boil, reduce heat to medium-high heat and cook until thickened and reduced to 1½ cups, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Off heat, whisk in butter and lemon juice.
This can be made in up to 3 days in advance.
