Almost Grandma's Sausage and Peppers
An easy, cost-effective succulent and scrumptious meal that is perfect to make when late to prepare dinner.
Ingredients

hot italian sausages
12 sausages, 2 per person |

1 | medium |
onions
thinly sliced |

1 | tablespoon |
garlic
minced |

sweet red bell peppers
seeded & sliced |

seeded and diced |

tomato paste

Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sausages and cook until browned, about 2 minutes on each side.
Remove most of the fat then add the onions, garlic, green pepper, red bell pepper, tomato paste, wine (or apple juice), fennel seeds and salt and pepper to taste.
Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for 25 minutes.
This can easily be scaled down to feed 2, just cook up less sausage.

took out the wine and added mash potato on the side with a bit of dill, was sensational and did it whilst studying uni. cost me about $4 for a massive meal, highly reccomend for students and young people.
