Almond Poppy Seed Tea Bread with Orange Glaze

Glaze | |||

Directions
Blend all ingredients until well blended. Pour into greased tins. Bake at 350℉ (180℃) for 1 hour.
Makes 2 large, 3 medium or 4 small loaves.
Heat all glaze ingredients until sugar melts. Brush on cooled breads with a pastry brush. Allow glaze to harden before wrapping.

How is this calculated?
This recipe is almost identical to a handwritten one my mom used for years. It makes a great gift - especially when you make it in mini loaves. I would like to make it in muffin form but I'm not sure how long to bake the muffins for. Has anyone done
接近 12 年 agoJust to follow up...I did make them in muffin form and baked them for about 25 minutes. Could be a little less depending on your oven. The muffins look beautiful!

Wonderful! I had been looking for an identical to my mother's recipe which had a typo in it (was missing milk) and was so happy to find this one. I did these in the form of muffins and baked for about 23 minutes. Perfect for company!
