Appetizers have long been a part of the culinary tradition in Europe, but they're relatively new to America. One of the first to appear in American cookbooks, at the turn of the century, was shrimp cocktail.

Can be used as an appetizer, or the main course, but either way this scrumptious dish doesn't disappoint in taste!

Good as a salad dressing or dip, wonderful with boiled shrimp as an alternative to ketchup-based dip, and fantastic with Onion Mums.
