This quick, easy and delicious Italian-style side dish is perfectly cooked. Broccoli is seasoned with olive oil and garlic, and finished with a touch of parmesan.
Slightly sweet and sour. Ginger and garlic Asian dressing was super flavourful. The napa cabbage, carrots, and radishes gave the salad a nice crunch. Definitely will be making it again with my leftover turkey. I'm sure that it works great with chicken as well.
This recipe is my glorified version of a Polish "kapusta," made hearty with the addition of country-style pork ribs, mushroooms and bacon. Traditionally, it is served with "kluski (potato dumplings)" or egg noodles and rye bread.

Even the sweet potato/yam "dis-liker" (me) liked the flavor of these. Nice little bite from the cayenne. And the amount of sugar was just right. I don't care for really "sweet" yam dishes at all! Thanks for this addition to our holiday dinner. (Part of my "Thanksgiving 2010" Menu)
Southern corn chowder with fresh-scraped corn pulp, bacon, potatoes, tomatoes, and a bouquet garni. Cream-finished, brightened with cayenne. A simmered farmhouse chowder.

I put the heavy baking pan above the tofu for 2 hours, lots of water came out, that definitely helped tofu develop a firmer texture. I didn't use onion, instead used the scallions, also added some oyster sauce. Very tasty and easy to make.
The now defunct Jordan Marsh made the absolute best blueberry muffins. This recipe comes close. Hope you enjoy.
