These are *not* fluffy dumplings as in chicken and dumplings. They are a "sturdy" potato dumpling served as a side dish to meat, and usually with a sweet sauerkraut/carraway/honey dish as the vegetable.

This is a delicious apple pie, the brown sugar crumb topping is really good.

Easy, tasty and loaded with great flavour. A great way to cook with my fall veggies that grow in my garden. I often enjoy this delicious soup with homemade bread, and I can not ask for anything better than that!
