Black bean chili/14 recipes

One of my variations of the Bisquick "Impossible Pie" type recipe. Quick and easy...great for breakfast, brunch or a light lunch.

Instead of using beef or chicken, try these succulent fish tacos that will have you licking your lips! Great recreation of the incredible Rubio's Fish Taco. Most people get this wrong, but not this one. The CORN tortilla is vital to the flavor. Get them as fresh and thick as possible.

Make it ahead to save some time for your party day, and it tastes delicious when it comes out of the oven and freshly baked.

Sprouted some bean sprouts last week, meanwhile I had some colorful bell peppers needed to be used up, then this was the quick-easy stir-fry I put together.

Chunks of apples and pieces of walnuts make this cake super moist yet delicious.

So filling, and delicious! A good chili is always welcome by my family. Soaked up all the yummy sauce with our homemade dinner rolls. Hmmm, so good!

This is probably the best scalloped potatoes I've had. We made our own cream of mushroom soup with dried wild mushrooms (see recipe link below). Tons of rich mushroom flavor that was embedded in the potatoes along with a nice cheesy flavor throughout. We used a nice old cheddar. The paprika was a nice touch and it ended up giving the potatoes a very rich color (see photos).

Easy Jack Daniels spiked smokey baked beans. Enriched with sugar and "spice" and everything nice! :)

I had this yummy and warm hot-pot with some homemade kimchee and a Korean style spinach salad. Real comfort food! Highly recommend this dish to everyone who likes Korean food.
