Made this apple cake a while ago, and finally got the photos uploaded. The cake was moist and delicious. I used half whole wheat flour and half all-purpose flour to make it a bit healthier, reduced sugar to 1 1/2 cups, which was sweet enough for us. Also added 1/2 cup chopped pecans to the apples, and it was a great addition.

It is corn season, so many fresh and sweet corn, we use them with sour cream and red pepper, some scallions and fresh cilantro, give the corn very rich flavor, and this is a very healthy way to cook corn too, enloy summer and corn!

If I were having my teeth out again, I'd have soup. I think it's comforting, and it's definitely easy to eat! My favorite is this recipe for "cream" of corn soup. Fat free and vegetarian.

A very moist and yummy pancake. Didn't have chunky applesauce, so I used smooth applesauce and one chopped apple, which was delicious. I dusted the top with a bit icing sugar, drizzled some maple syrup over each slice, and it was delicious.

Marinated steamed broccoli and cauliflower, really brings tons of tasty flavor, enjoy delicious fresh vegetables.
