No waste of chicken in the restaurants, Colonel created a recipe to help use the chicken that was unable to be sold. So he devised the pot pie recipe. The chicken could only sit and be sold for 2 hrs after it is fried.

It was indeed very easy to make. I added about 1/2 cup chopped walnuts to the topping, and the cake came out quite delicious.

What a delicious meal! Had this lamb shanks for dinner, and we were all so pleased by how flavorful it was. Loved the fennel in the dish.
