A wonderful sauce for fresh grilled salmon, halibut or sea bass.
Tomato Cucumber Sandwich has always been a favorite of mine. I remember I used to ask my mom to make them, when we used to go for picnics. She would lovingly make them and nicely wrap them in aluminim foil. They would not get mushy or moist, even after 3-4 hours. These sandwiches can also be made for children’s school tiffin as well as wrapped and taken while travelling. However, its better to consume them within 4-5 hours.
Making your own kimchi at home is totally easy, and the best of all is that you can adjust the seasonings to your own taste. Serve it with any your favorite Korean or other dishes.
These sweet and slightly sour pickled pears are soft and melt in your mouth. Serve it with grilled meat, sausages or hot dogs. A delicious and refreshing side dish.
When making smoothies, use the whole fruit or vegetable and blend in a good high powered blender (Vitamix and Blendtec are two of the best ones). Fresh fruits and vegetables contain large amounts of soluble and insoluble fibre which will help keep blood sugars stable and keep you full for longer. An easy and tasty frittata. It's also a great way to use up your leftover vegetables from the day before to make a delicious breakfast. It's very versatile, you can pretty much add any veggies or cooked chicken, or seafood, etc...
A savory and hearty soup made with succulent beef, hot chili sauce and bean sprouts.
This recipe is inspired by parmesan roasted potato and roasted green beans recipes we made last week. Then we came out this idea, and it definitely worked out. Roasting gives the green beans both great flavor and texture, parmesan, paprika and fresh herbs add tons of yumminess. A versatile recipe that can go well with any kind of main dish!
Asian cod recipe. Asian marinated meaty cod with a crispy coating, colorful tender-crisp veggies, all glazed with a sweet-sour sauce.
I seasoned the fish with a bit salt and black pepper, cooked the asparagus in a hot skillet with a bit olive oil and freshly minced garlic, then seasoned with salt and black pepper, baked for 10 minutes, and it came out absolutely delicious and super light!
A few small twists make a much healthier but still decadent chocolate pudding cake. Wole wheat flour adds some fibre, using half butter and half olive oil cuts down the amount of saturated fat without losing the buttery flavor and moist texture. Spoon the warm and rich chocolate sauce over the pudding cake before serving.
Just delicious. Love the health factor considered in developing this recipe, especially since I'm watching my saturated fat and cholesterol intake. I'd never have made caesar salad for a party recently if not for this one. There was not a romaine left on anyone's plate. Thanks!
Awesome flavors in every way. Pickled relish with wasabi mayo perfectly complimentary. When you bite into it the texture is equal or better than milk-fed fillet mignon.
