I love blueberries and this recipe has great taste. I make this a lot because you can use fresh or frozen blueberries, which I always have in the freezer.The tasty lemon sauce is the perfect topping for this tender cake. If you use frozen berries do not thaw before adding them to the batter.

This is the ultimate pound cake and it is quick and easy to make. It is moist, buttery and fluffy with the subtle flavors of vanilla and fresh lemon. Great served with sorbet or fresh berries.

2 ingredients, smoked sausages steamed in beer for even more flavor. Perfect for Superbowl or any time the guys get together.

These cakes are eaten buttered, with a glass of milk, for supper, but are also good with oily fish such as herring or mackerel. They are also terrific with wine and cheese.
