The fillings can be made in advance; the leftover dumplings, just freeze them raw. Whenever you feel like eating a few, cook the frozen ones directly in hot pan.
The day we made this recipe, our friend happened to come over, and she had a simple dinner with us. This was the main course, served with warm naan bread. She just loved it. Also it was so quick and easy to make. A great week-night meal.
The flavor was combination was excellent. Next time will add some whole dried chili peppers to give it a bit more kick. We served it over brown rice and could hardly stop eating it.
