Ingredients

1-4 each garlic cloves
to taste, chopped
4 tablespoons lemon juice
fresh
1 tablespoon capers
including the brine
4 tablespoons chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
4 tablespoons chickpea liquid
from can, or cooking liquid

2 teaspoons soy sauce, tamari
or to taste, depends on salt in beans
1 x capers
additional for garnish
*
1 x black pepper
*
1 x croutons
optional
*
1 x romaine lettuce
*

Directions

Blend everything except the last three items until only tiny pieces of chickpea are visible.

Toss romaine lettuce with mixture.

Garnish with the capers and fresh ground black pepper and croutons.

Makes somewhere around 1 cup.
