8 ounces herring, pickled
drained

seeded and diced
1 apples
tart, core and dice
1 oranges
sectioned and diced
2 teaspoons onions
grated
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
4 lettuce leaves
cupped

Directions

Combine ingredients and marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Serve on inner tightly cupped lettuce leaves.
