Directions

Peel your apples, slice your apples, place in water while preparing rest. In mixer or with a spoon, combine flour, salt, sugar, red hot candies (red imperials), and nutmeg, add apples when all is mixed well. Prepare pie crust for filling. Put apple mixture in it. Sprinkle with cinnamon, dot with butter, and small amount of sugar. With other crust make a lattice crust, and dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar, and cinnamon
