500 millilitres vodka
or some other pure alcohol

5E+2 millilitres vodka
or some other pure alcohol

Directions

Add the sugar and water in a medium sauce pan, bring to a boil. Let cool.

Mix together lemon juice and grated lemon peel .

Pour into the bottled Vodka and shake well.

Close the bottle and put in the freezer to cool for about half an hour.

Serve.

I'm kind of embarrassed to ask this question - I made the simple syrup. Then I mixed together the lemon juice and grated peel, which I poured into the Vodka and shook it. If I close the bottle and put into the freezer - at what point do I add it into the rest of ingredients?
