Pizza Grilled Cheese
Love pizza? Love grilled cheese? Why not combine them for an all in one love affair?
Ingredients
4 | slices |
bread
|
|
1 | tablespoon |
butter
|
|
4 | ounces |
mozzarella cheese
sliced or shredded |
|
2 | ounces |
pepperoni
slices |
|
¼ | teaspoon |
italian seasoning
|
* |
½ | ounces |
Parmesan cheese
optional |
|
1 | ounce |
pizza sauce
for dipping |
Directions
Assemble into a sandwiches in layers as follows:


½ the Mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese (if using), slices of pepperoni then top with remaining mozzarella and slice of bread.


Butter the bread on the outside.


Grill in a pre-heated non-stick skillet for about 4 minutes per side or until crispy and golden brown.
Cut in half and serve with pizza sauce for dipping if desired.
