Grilled Hawaiian Sandwiches
A tropical touch to a typical grilled cheese. A perfect quick fix for a week night meal.
or margarine, softened
oat nut, whole wheat or your favorite
brown sugar or maple, very thinly sliced
pineapple, canned, crushed
Briefly warm ham in very large, dry skillet; set aside.
Spread softened butter or margarine on one side of each of slice of bread.
Place up to 4 slices (depends on your skillet size) butter-side-down in the same skillet over medium-high heat.
Top each with cheese, crushed pineapple and ham.
Place remaining bread slices on top of each, buttered-side-up.
Turn when bottom slices are golden.
Cook until other side browns, about 2 minutes.
Repeat process until all sandwiches are made.
