Amazing recipe! I love this...reminds me of my grandma's cookies. People devour these. I use a buttercream frosting, homemade to frost them. I found the recipe on the back of the confectioners sugar bag. 10 stars...this recipe is a keeper!

3E+1 ml liqueur
sambuca, licorice flavor

946 ml all-purpose flour

15 ml baking powder

Directions

In mixing bowl, put in 1 cup sugar and melted butter which has been cooled .

Add eggs one at a time, beating after each one.

Add flavorings, and 2 cups flour and baking powder and mix.

Then add 2 more cups of flour and mix.

(Add a little more if necessary) dough should be soft but not sticky to the touch.

Let stand for 3 minutes, roll into little balls and place 1½ inches; apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes at 375℉ (190℃).

When cool frost cookies.

Makes about 4 dozen.
