Italian bread basket is used so often in Italian cooking, it is so easy to make, and adds extra flavor into the recipe!

Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degree F.
Cut a ¾ slice from top of bread.
Scoop out inside of bread with a fork to form basket, leaving 1-inch bread on all sides and bottom of loaf.
Put loaf on foil in shallow baking pan.
Brush top, sides and inside of bread with melted butter.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese all over the loaf, coating sides evenly.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
