Ingredients

4 ounces buckwheat groats
roasted

1 carrots

1 onions
*
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
6 ounces lentils, red (masoor dal)
1 pint vegetable stock

herbs
dried, parsley and rosemary are recommended
*
1 teaspoon marmite
*
1 pinch nutmeg
*
salt and black pepper
to taste

Directions

Chop onion and carrot, sauté in oil in a fairly large saucepan. Add all other ingredients - bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees C/400 degrees F/Gas Mark 6 5. Put mixture in loaf/flan dish. Put loaf/flan dish in oven.

Cook for 30 minutes. Serve warm.
