Directions

Boil and mash potatoes and garlic (onion may be used instead of garlic); add potato water, salt and cream.

Let come to a boil, blend if you prefer a smooth texture.

Serve with some crumbled bacon pieces, scallions and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
