Measure dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
Sift and cut in shortening.
Stir in buttermilk.
When thoroughtly mixed, turn onto a lightly-floured board, knead, and roll to about ½ inch tickness.
Put on greased baking pan and brush tops with melted butter.
Bake at 450℉ (230℃) for 12 to 15 minutes.
