Ingredients

1 can black beans
16 ounces, drained

2 each potatoes
washed and diced
½ pound ham
cooked, diced
6 cups beef stock
¼ cup onions
dried, chopped
1 can jalapeño pepper
4 ounces, chopped, or mild chili peppers

1 each garlic cloves
minced
1 teaspoon cumin
ground
1 teaspoon oregano
ground
1 teaspoon thyme
ground
*
teaspoon cloves
ground
*
1 x sour cream
optional
*
1 x tomatoes
chopped, optional
*

Directions

In Crock-Pot, combine beans, potatoes, ham, broth, onion, peppers, garlic, cumin, oregano, thyme, and cloves.

Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours or on High 4 to 5 hours.

Serve.

Garnish bowls with sour cream and chopped tomatoes if desired.
