Easy Apple Turnovers recipe

Ran out of plums and had leftover so developed this recipe to use strawberries instead of plums that the original called for.

I made mine in mini pie pans and used a cream cheese/sour cream topping slightly sweetened with confectioner's sugar. The filling is excellent.

There are hundreds versions of this very Polish soup. Here you have an original proposition of mine. I used to cook it on the base of my favorite duck and chicken stock. The cream is a must to create wonderful pink color. Optionally you may add a quarter or a half of hard boiled egg to your bowl. By the way, I change my recipe sometimes, for instance by adding dried California prunes instead of sugar, or by adding some white vinegar instead of lemon juice.

This dedicate French apple tart also tastes delicious. It's loaded with apples, so you don't have to feel too guilty about enjoying one or two slices of this tart.

I tried this pumpkin pie last week, it turned out delicious. At Thanksgiving I will make this pumpkin pie for my family, I bet they will love it.
