A yummy alternative to meat and potatoes.

It's hard to resist these addictively delicious cookies. Oats, shredded wheat, and dates add extra goodness. Feel free to use half whole wheat flour and half all-purpose flour. The result is as yummy.

Vodka can be made from a variety of grains. Barley and wheat are the most common but corn and rye can be used as well. It can also be made from potatoes and beets. Grain vodkas are generally considered to be the best.

This is excellent served as a spread over fresh French bread or roasted potatoes.
