Scottish Raisin Oat Scones recipe

A simple crockpot recipe that makes a scrumptious bread made with rye flour, blackstrap molasses and buttermilk.

Instead of rice, this Christmas pudding is made with pearl barley, cinnamon and sugar. Pearly barley makes the pudding taste delicious and creamy while provides lots of goodness. Serve it with some chopped nuts and rose water if needed.

Easier to work with. The original recipe called for brandy or grape juice, but I found that if you substitute the orange juice concentrate, it has a nicer flavour.
