Rich and fudgy brownies with a delightful frosting. You'd never know they contained zucchini!

Adapted this recipe from Foodnetwork magazine, I made a few changes to make it a little healthier but still taste decadently delicious.

Use meringue filling to make this rich coffee cream cake a bit lighter but still taste decadent.

Whole wheat flour and walnuts make the crust nutty and tasty, instead of all butter, use some butter and some canola oil to reduce the saturated fat without reducing the yummy flavor and texture. Granny smith and some delicious apricot jam are enough to make this tart shine.

Classic old favorite holiday treat

Cake doesn't have to be always packed with calories, fat and sugar. You only need a few simple twists to make a much healthier cake that still tastes delicious.

This simply delicious apple cake is made with 100% whole wheat flour, apple sauce and olive oil. It has much less sugar than a regular cake, but still well satisfies your sweet tooth. The caramel drizzling and toasted walnuts add more shine to the cake. Nobody could resist it!

My mom makes these date pinwheel cookies every Thanksgiving and Christmas, and they always disappear very fast. Nobody can resist these delicious treats.

Here is a recipe, developed young man here in the Detroit area. With this recipe, he won a $10,000 scholarship to Johnson and Wales College, which is considered a top-notch cooking school, located in Charleston, SC. This young man, Andre Black, spent 2 weeks developing this recipe, this cake was among the top 19 recipes chosen (out of 270) as winners. Andre was on the front page of the Detroit News yesterday, along with the recipe. The Detroit News food writer, Robin Mather says "For a Carrot Cake, this is a hell of a fruit cake." She found this cake suited to 3 - 8 inch layers.
