Spicy Baked Sweet Potato Steak Fries

Ingredients

2 2
MEDIUM MEDIUM SWEET POTATOES, OR YAMS
peeled, if desired, each cut into 6 wedges
2 3E+1
TABLESPOONS ML OLIVE OIL, EXTRA-VIRGIN
1 15
TABLESPOON ML BROWN SUGAR, LIGHT
½ 2.5
TEASPOON ML KOSHER SALT
plus more for sprinkling once fries are baked
½ 2.5
TEASPOON ML CAYENNE PEPPER

Directions

Preheat oven to 425℉ (220℃).

In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, kosher salt and cayenne pepper; set aside.

Place potato wedges in a large bowl and drizzle with the oil. Toss to coat well.

Place wedges on sheet pan and sprinkle with the seasoning mixture.

Bake for 15 minutes; turn and continue to bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, until tender and wedges are nicly browned. Sprinkle with additional kosher salt, if desired, while the fries are hot.

Serve with condiment of your choice.

Awww these look yum and recently i had made something similar using similar recipe but with lots of garlic and served it with mediterranean garlic sauce...it was a hit and my friends loved it......will try your recipe tooo
