No-bake peanut butter rice cereal drops made with just 4 ingredients in 15 minutes. Crunchy, chewy, and dangerously easy to make. Kids and cookie swaps love these.

The name says it all: a cup of sugar, a cup of corn syrup, a cup of peanut butter, and four cups of rice cereal. That’s the whole recipe.

You boil the sugar and syrup together, stir in the peanut butter until it melts into a glossy coating, fold in the cereal, and drop spoonfuls onto wax paper.

Fifteen minutes from start to finished candy. No oven, no baking sheets, no fuss.

They set up crunchy on the outside with a slightly chewy, peanut-buttery center that sticks to your teeth in the best way.

Kitchen Tips

  • Bring the sugar and syrup to a true rolling boil, not just a simmer. That full boil is what gives the coating its snap once it cools.
  • Work fast once you add the cereal. The mixture starts to set quickly and gets harder to drop from a spoon as it firms up.
  • A splash of vanilla (about a teaspoon) adds warmth and rounds out the sweetness, even though it’s not in the official ingredient list.
