melted

TEASPOONS ML BAKING POWDER

LARGE LARGE EGGS

TABLESPOONS ML SUGAR

Directions

Beat egg yolks well; add milk and shortening.

Combine salt, sugar, and flour. Add to first mixture. Beat until smooth.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

Sift baking powder lightly over the mixture and fold in quickly.

Bake in hot waffle iron.

Serve with fresh fruits, and maple syrup if desired.
