Ingredients

2 large onions
chopped
¼ cup butter
2 cans chicken broth
14 1/2 ounces each

20 ounces broccoli, frozen
chopped, cooked drained
12 ounces evaporated milk
1 x salt
to taste

Directions

In a large skillet, sauté onions in butter or margarine.

Add broth and broccoli; cook, stirring, until heated through and smooth.

Add milk and cook until just scalded (do not boil).

Puree if desired.

Serve hot.
