You can get this Burger all over Berlin and in other places in Germany as well. It was this which caused some confusion when President Kennedy said "Ich bin ein Berlinner".

Directions
Put mince in large bowl.
Wet bread with cold water and leave for 10 minuets.
Squeeze excess water out of bread.
Break up bread and add to bowl.
Chop onion and put in a food processor.
Process until onion is smooth (no large bits and sort of mushy – liquid).
Add to bowl. Add salt and pepper. Add paprika. Add egg.
Mix with a fork.
Then using hands mix until it becomes really smooth – it will look like it has been double ground.
Make into oval shapes (divide into 8 portions).
Dust in floor.
Heat oil in pan, to a high heat.
Place buletten in pan for a few seconds to seal them, then turn and reduce heat to medium.
Cook each side for 10 minuets until fully cooked through.
Serve.
Onion gravy is delicious with them.
