Salad recipes

While this cold salad has some elements of a traditional warm German potato salad, it is totally Americanized to suit my family's tastes. Great with grilled burgers, dogs, meats and poultry.

Brought this salad to a pot luck recently, everyone raved about it. It was easy, simple, refreshing and delicious.

This quick and easy caesar salad is surprisingly refreshing and delicious. There is no reason to buy store-bought dressing, when you can make your own fresh dressing at home within a few minutes, and it tastes just delicious!

A very refreshing and clean salad/side dish.

Creamy avocados, juicy-sweet tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, meaty chickpeas and salty olives are on top of a bed of lettuce or any your favorite greens. Drizzle some freshly homemade vinaigrette and serve with a few slices of good bread.

I made this for my bridge club. All eight gals including me loved it. The other seven asked for the recipe. It's easy to make and delicious. The lemon and fresh basil add a lot to the recipe. Interestingly enough, Kraft doesn't have this on their recipe web site even though it's one of their recipes.

A light and refreshing salad is a great side dish at your Thanksgiving dinner!

Just vegetables, very healthy, especially when you are eating some meat!
