Panettone Bread recipe
This is a fantastic recipe my mom taught me when I was 9 or 10, because it's so easy to make, and makes plenty to feed everyone.
Easy and very tasty. I proofed the yeast before adding it to the salt and flour. I also sprinkled the top with salt after the olive oil.
This recipe comes from Italy by way of Argentina. Maxwell Mowry of Charleston got this recipe when he lived in Buenos Aires in the early l970s. Since there are more people of Italian ancestry in Argentina than of Spanish ancestry, it is not surprising to find panettone there, where it is called in Spanish pan dulce, meaning 'sweet bread.' At Christmas in Argentina, pan dulce is eaten accompanied by sparkling apple cider. Houseware shops in Argentina sell special tall cylindrical springform pans to bake the pan dulce, but an empty, greased 1-pound coffee can may be used.

Incredibly quick and easy and packed with flavor. Shallow poaching keeps the flavor from leeching into the poaching liquid and then reducing the liquid to make a sauce captures every last drop of delicate flavor.
A quick and easy chicken-pasta salad not only tastes delicious, but it also has lots of nutrients that are good for you. Great for a busy week day dinner.
The bottom of the pizza, called the "crust", may vary widely according to style—thin as in a typical hand-tossed pizza or Roman pizza, or thick as in a typical pan pizza or Chicago-style pizza. It is traditionally plain, but may also be seasoned with garlic, or herbs, or stuffed with cheese.
These were delicious! I don't like mushrooms so nixed those and used a broccoli/cauliflower mixture. Loved it; the added wine and garlic with all the veggies....yum. I believe I used 11 lasagna noodles; putting 1/3 cup of the mixture in each noodle was perfect.
