Best Chocolate Bar Fondue
Best Chocolate Bar Fondue

Very, very good. I used 1/2 semi sweet and 1/2 bittersweet - more of a sophisticated flavor. It was yummy. Stick to the milk chocolate or semi-sweet for the kids though. Besides a variety of fruit, I bought those little creme puffs in the freezer section - they were delicious dipped in the chocolate!

Alsatian Gratin of Roots (Lacto)

I wanted to share a recipe which I have been making this winter for my family. It is a good cold weather dish. It makes enough for a crowd my family (2 adults and 3 teens) only eat about half. This can be made ahead and chilled until ready to use.

Yummy Broccoli & Mushroom Quesadillas
Yummy Broccoli & Mushroom Quesadillas

This was my lunch today, packed with goodness and yumminess. I only made 1 quesadilla for myself, so I quartered the recipe. It was delicious, loved the oozing cheese and the flavorsome veggies. A great combination on both flavor and texture. I broiled the top for a few minutes to make it nice, brown and crispy. Will be making this more often for sure.

Peach & Oat Smoothie

If you cannot find fresh peaches, use frozen ones (they will further thicken the smoothie). Peaches were first cultivated in China where they are considered a symbol of immortality and friendship. Nutritionally, they are a good source of selenium and vitamins A and C. Chia seeds are not only a complete protein, but supply the much needed omega-3 fatty acids missing from so many modern diets.

Char Kway Teow (Stir-Fried Rice Noodles)

Nothing is more fascinating and delicious than eating at the open- air street hawker centers in Asia, particularly in Singapore. Each stall serves a specialty, typically an honest, unpretentious, home-style dish for $1 to $3 a plate. This rice noodle dish is hawker food at its best. If done right, its fragrance will tell you how good it's going to be as soon as it arrives at your table.
