This recipe comes from Italy by way of Argentina. Maxwell Mowry of Charleston got this recipe when he lived in Buenos Aires in the early l970s. Since there are more people of Italian ancestry in Argentina than of Spanish ancestry, it is not surprising to find panettone there, where it is called in Spanish pan dulce, meaning 'sweet bread.' At Christmas in Argentina, pan dulce is eaten accompanied by sparkling apple cider. Houseware shops in Argentina sell special tall cylindrical springform pans to bake the pan dulce, but an empty, greased 1-pound coffee can may be used.

A quick and easy way to make your leftover rice into a delicious one pan meal. Feel free to add cooked meat. For a meatless version, add some scrambled eggs or browned tofu cubes.

An easy recipe to make a delicious and moist chocolate zucchini bundt cake, it's great with a cup of coffee, or tea. I always put a dollap of plain yogurt to add some creaminess, of course if you prefer a richer taste, add some whipped cream!

This sweet marmalade is the perfect spread for toast, english muffins and pancakes.

It's hard to resist any kind of cookies, such as these ones. They were buttery and delicious. Cranberries added some delicious sourness and sweetness, which perfectly balanced with the oatmeal cookies. Next time I may add some walnuts or even chocolate chips to give it a new twist.

This simple stir-fry is full of flavour. I just finished the leftover from two days ago, and it was still delicious, not only vegetarians like it... Definitely a keeper!
