These savory muffins are great for breakfast. They can be made in advance, frozen then defrosted in the microwave in a flash if you have a chance before they're gobbled up. The pesto, basil/garlic/pine nuts really create a wow factor. They're hard to resist.

This savory bean soup made with ham, celery and parsley leaves is perfect served with a loaf of french bread on the side.

So chocolaty and delicious. This was our dessert after dinner yesterday, in order to feel less guilty, I modified the recipe and made a healthier chocolate pudding cake (see the linked recipe below). It was such an enjoyable and decadent dessert that we really loved.

This is always a hit! I tweaked it by using 1/2 c oil and 3/4 c orange juice and it turned out great. We made these into muffins and put them in gift bags for our out-of-town guests at our wedding and they all loved them. For muffins, we baked at 350 for 25 minutes and it made about 22 muffins per batch.

Coffee cake that has coffee in the cake and in the glaze! Of course you can always enjoy a slice with a cup of coffee. Perfect as a morning or afternoon pick me up.

Blueberries, Danish and cheesecake are all in one bite, life is good! The cake is made with 100% whole wheat flour, applesauce and olive oil, and they are all good for you. Having one slice or two for breakfast with the morning coffee sounds like a good idea to me :)

These blueberry muffins are very moist and has a great coffee cake like texture, just like the name. They are made with whole wheat flour, canola oil, applesauce and a bit butter. Great muffins at any time of the day. Nobody can resist these muffins.

Scrumptious little sweet tarts that are simply filled with a bit of brown sugar and dates. No "pork" involved, just old-fashioned Acadian simple goodness.

Layers of textures and flavors in this salad. Crunchy and fresh bell peppers, sweet edamade, salty olives, feta and nutty pine nuts together make this salad amazingly tasty.
