Here is a recipe, developed young man here in the Detroit area. With this recipe, he won a $10,000 scholarship to Johnson and Wales College, which is considered a top-notch cooking school, located in Charleston, SC. This young man, Andre Black, spent 2 weeks developing this recipe, this cake was among the top 19 recipes chosen (out of 270) as winners. Andre was on the front page of the Detroit News yesterday, along with the recipe. The Detroit News food writer, Robin Mather says "For a Carrot Cake, this is a hell of a fruit cake." She found this cake suited to 3 - 8 inch layers.

This recipe was made by a neighbor and given to me. He told me to try it and then he would tell me what it was made with. I tried it, loved it, and asked him for the recipe. He went and got it and now i make it all the time. Who knew Saltine crackers and chocolate went so well together!! I would recommend it to anyone. I get people at work who tell me to bring it in all the time. It is loved by everyone who makes it.

3-Step Cheesecake recipe

The classic original green bean casserole with french fried onions. You can use frenches french fried onions or the original Durkee french fried onions.

An easy yet delicious recipe. I followed the recipe, and used whatever I had on hand. Then just mixed them up, and baked in the oven until the cheese was nicely browned. I let the casserole rest for about 10 minutes, then served it. Overall a great dish.

Pumpkin, kahlua and cheesecake, yes, you will find them all in this cheesecake. It's creamy, silky, has that nice coffee flavor from kahlua; and also super pumpkin-y. A decadent dessert that impresses everyone.

Sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, basil and feta cheese give the nutty crackers tangy Mediterranean flavors, and these crackers are great with cheddar cheese, cream cheese or any cheese you like to go together. They are great appetizer or snack when you have company to come over.

Last Wednesday we took this colourful and delicious salad to a pot-luck, everyone loved it and a few of them even asked for the recipe. It was such a refreshing salad that's also packed with goodness.
