This is not your classic bundt cake that's packed with not-so-good-for-you ingredients. The cake is made with 100% whole wheat flour, grapeseed oil, Greek yogurt, low-fat cream cheese, and fresh raspberries. The ganache doesn't have any butter or cream, it contains cocoa powder, honey, grapeseed oil and Greek yogurt. Super chocolaty, fudgy, moist and packed with goodness.
"A tall, impressive cake that showcases the flavors and smells of the holidays. A three-layer extravaganza with a touch of molasses and shredded apple to keep it moist. It fills the house with a fragrance that beats the most expensive holiday-scented candle. It will be talked about long after the party is over." Source: The Pastry Queen Christmas, by Rebecca Rather
This Baklava recipe is classic Greek baklava. It can be sweet as a dessert, or savory as an appetizer. Phyllo pastry gives a crispy texture, using both golden delicious and Granny Smith apples makes the filling sweet, slightly sour, and very tasty. The Walnut layer adds another nuttiness, crunchiness, and richness. A delicious and light dessert that you can serve on any occasion.
This is a very tasty and refreshing salad, and it was so quick and easy to make, liked the sweetness and sourness from apple juice and cider vinegar, which just right balanced. Crunchy apple and fennel give the salad great texture and flavor, mixing in the peppery arugula, a simply delicious salad recipe that fits every occasion.
Yum! I added some sliced red bell pepper strips to give the dish more colour. Used fresh broccoli instead of mixed frozen veggies, and added a drizzle of sesame oil and rice vinegar in the end as well as some sesame seeds. Enjoyed the dish with a bowl of rice, so good!
This beautiful spiced apple cake, not only satisfy the eyes but also satisfy your taste. Rich seasonal spices and lovely presentation make this a holiday treat. It's also high in fiber and low in fat! No guilt decadence.
Just the right amount of everything, and well balanced flavor and texture. A great fall or winter dessert that uses seasonal cranberries and everyone will be thrilled.
Bring a new look to the holiday with this succulent dish that rounds out any family tradition.
This super fruity and moist cake is absolutely divine. It's a great coffee or tea cake. I had it for breakfast with my morning coffee for a few days, perfect. Made with mostly whole wheat flour and applesauce, not loaded with sugar, so it's much healthier than your regular coffee cake, that's why it's also a great breakfast to start off your day.
Be sure to spoon some of the yummy sauce from the bottom of the pan on top of the dumplings after they're baked, and serve hot with vanilla ice cream.
Tangy and tasty salad that combines fall/winter fruit and beets with a creamy dressing. Feel free to use canned or pickled beets in place of the fresh beets to save time.
Taditional German Oktoberfest recipe.
So yummy, my taste buds are still actively searching the taste of cinnamon, tender apples and warm-oozy cream cheese...
Boneless and skin-less chicken thighs caramelized with bacon then braised with apples and onions.
