I have made a Thanksgiving goose every year for at least 15 years. I have steadily gained on making the perfect bird but I finally found the greatest recipe ever in Cook's Magazine. The divine part of this approach to cooking the goose is that it employs some of the eastern method of drying the skin which is used in Peking Duck. The skin simply drops all its fat and leaves a crispy, dry, delectable skin that folks fight over! No more rubbery, yucky goose skin full of fat!
his is a concentrated, liquid coffee easily found in Ireland, but probably not in the States. I would dissolve 2 T of a good instant coffee in an equivalent amount of water, and use that.

Chocolate is usually thought of as a guilty pleasure but for the Maya civilisation and their ancestors it was a daily staple; the Mayans murals and ceramics capture the abundance of chocolate available to them. Chocolate is made from the seeds of the cacao tree which flourished in southern Mexico. Recent studies found that cocoa extract, Lavado, could have a positive effect on cognitive decline, other studies indicate chocolate could help lower the risk of developing heart disease. Let’s celebrate the history and the benefits of chocolate with this enticing, vegan, recipe on the 13th September – National Chocolate Day.

It's the season of Swiss chard and kale. We got lots of these fresh leafy greens from our CSA farm, and I was trying to come out an idea to use them up, surfing the internet, found a recipe in New York Times, it's a chard and feta phyllo tart. Definitely got the inspiration, I used both chard and kale, instead of feta, I used cheddar; and I sauteed some fresh mushrooms and added some toasted pine nuts, which worked very well. Also, I used a pie plate instead of a tart pan, and it was a great success, absolutely flavorful and delicious. The phyllo crust came out flaky and crispy. Have definitely become one of my signature recipes :)
Sicilian pizza is known for its spongy and thick crust. This can be hard to achieve when you are avoiding gluten, but this is the right recipe to accomplish that goal. Tomatoes, anchovies and cheese top this pizza to form the perfect marriage of ingredients. On top of the crust being gluten free, the anchovies are heart healthy and good for lowering bad cholesterol. When tomatoes are combined with good fats, like those found in anchovies, it helps the body’s absorption of carotenoid phytochemicals that are said to help prevent cancer and improve cardiovascular health. Adding all these ingredients to your diet will keep your heart feeling good for many years to come, just like a good Sicilian marriage.
We’re sure you’ll be converted to this healthy substantial burger option once you try it, we are also sure that you won’t only be eating it on the 31st August – National Burger Day. Flaxseeds or linseeds are small oilseeds that originated in the Middle East thousands of years ago. Flaxseeds have a high content of Omega-3 which is good for heart health and they are 29% Carbohydrate, of this, a massive 95% is fibre which is good for digestion. They contain many vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids so understandably they are becoming more popular. Be aware though – they do not contain Lysine so they cannot be considered a protein source, but this can be found in another ingredient, the black bean. A great alternative burger recipe!
This easy pickled chutney can transform rice and leftovers into something special.

I found this recipe for good katsu because there wasn't any on this site.
Just I recipe I found fascinating. The ingredients that you'll need to prepare are:
The curry and sugar combo is fantastic, I haven't found a person who didn't like this salad.
Easier to work with. The original recipe called for brandy or grape juice, but I found that if you substitute the orange juice concentrate, it has a nicer flavour.
Fermented black beans can be found at Asian markets; but if unavailable, you can substitute prepared black bean sauce.
